Jumbo Census: Assam Has Highest Number of Captive Elephants, Kerala and Karnataka Follow

The first-ever census of captive elephants, undertaken on the orders of the Supreme Court, has revealed there are 2,454 such jumbos in 28 states and Union Territories.
