Punjab CM Bats for Open Jails for Women Inmates to Allow, Launches 'e-Purse' System to Facilitate Prisoners

The first-of-its-kind prison will allow the female inmates to work outside the inner prison premises, an official said, adding that the CM has sought a proposal from the Department of Prisons.
